Brooks Burdette graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work / Juvenile Delinquency. She was a Hoover Police Officer for 12 years and in 1997, she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the Birmingham School of Law. In 2001, Brooks formed her own firm, The Burdette Law Firm, P.C., located in Trussville, AL in a renovated 1940's home close to "the main" Trussville crossroads.
Her practice is primarily focused in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate Law. Brooks has served as the Judge for the Leeds Municipal Court and is currently serving as the Public Defender for the Leeds Court. Brooks is an instructor for several local Bar Associations, and she has been a guest speaker on radio, television and seminars focused on educating the public about legal issues.
